• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including the management of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors during the annual audit process and implement their recommendations as needed.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts and assist in the financial planning process.
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and recommend improvements to optimize working capital.
• Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management to support business decisions.
• Perform reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial documents regularly.
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and other statutory dues.
• Review and approve payments, expense reports, and other financial documentation in line with company policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and software.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the medical laboratory or healthcare sector.
